Opportunity Description:

Work with various teams within the Materials Protection Technology Branch to collect data to show the impact of the severity of the environment on the degree of corrosion on representative aircraft samples, and the ability of different coating systems to protect against this corrosion.

Goal 1:

High level understanding of Materials Lab architecture and mission in support of Navy and Marine Corps aviation platforms.

Goal 2:

Understanding of Materials Lab Architecture and capabilities.

Goal 3:

Importance of being a good team member (willingness to learn/good Interpersonal/communications).

Opportunity Skill Set:

Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
