Opportunity: NAWCAD IT Storefront

Intern will support NAWCAD Information Technology (IT) Storefront that serves our commands workforce and their forward deployed End-User IT assets. Intern communicates with their designated IT/NMCI POC, physically takes the broken NMCI asset directly to the IT Storefront. Exchanges and replace asset immediately, ensuring customer is back online ‘real-time’ before leaving the storefront. Candidate will support NAVAIR and NAWCAD CIV/CSS on/off boarding – NMCI POC’s processes NMCI asset order request for their program New Hires, off-boarding and returned NMCI assets. Support all/other ongoing support of NMCI assets.

Goal 1: Responsible for issuing a peripheral package to every qualified NEW hire, individuals that are truly a new employee of NAWCAD and not individuals changing jobs within the command.

Goal 2: Initially, executing the re-imaging of existing NMCI laptops currently deployed will occur Nautilus New device issuance, PT4 plans is to continue using the Navy’s End User.

Goal 3: IT Storefront facilitates all NMCI network on-premises troubles and network outages; hardline and WLAN, working directly with local Leidos Field Services with corrective actions. “
